Statement from Mayor Foster on Ramadan

Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement.

“Ramadan Mubarak to our Muslim community. On behalf of Clarington Council, I’d like to wish all those who are observing a peaceful, blessed month.

Last night marked the start of this sacred month in Islam. For many in our community, it’s filled with devoted prayer and fasting from sunrise to sunset. It’s a chance for all of us to reflect on important values, like compassion, gratitude, and generosity. Together, let’s continue to take pride in Clarington’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.”
