Various roads will be closed in Historic Downtown Bowmanville as we celebrate Maplefest!

Maplefest celebrates the start of spring and all things maple! Join in the festivities in Historic Downtown Bowmanville, from Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

King Street will be closed from Friday, May 1, at 6 p.m. to Saturday, May 2, at approximately 7 p.m. from Scugog Street to George Street and will also include parts of Division and Temperance Streets. Detours are available via alternate local roads.

Park for free in one of our downtown parking lots, or take the shuttle bus leaving every 15 minutes from Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex.

Sparky and Beepa

Visit Clarington’s booth, located on King Street just west of George Street. Meet with Municipal Staff and learn about our programs and services.

Don’t forget to stop by the Clarington Firefighters education booth and fire truck on the corner of King Street and Scugog Street to learn about new carbon monoxide (CO) alarm rules, tour the fire truck, talk to a firefighter and take a selfie with Beepa and Sparky.
