What’s open and closed in Clarington on Easter weekend, April 3 to 6, 2026

Friday, April 3

• The Municipal Administrative Centre (Town Hall) and the Clarington Animal Shelter will be closed.
• There are no recreation programs or activities scheduled, and recreation facilities will be closed.

Saturday, April 4

• Recreation facilities are open during regularly scheduled hours. Programs will take place as scheduled. Visit www.clarington.net/Drop-In to view our drop-in activities.
• Clarington Animal Shelter is open for regular hours.

Sunday, April 5

• Recreation facilities are open during regularly scheduled hours. Registered programs have been cancelled, and drop-in activities will take place as scheduled. Visit www.clarington.net/Drop-In to view our drop-in activities.

Monday, April 6

• The following recreation facilities are open for regular hours and scheduled programs:
  • Alan Strike Aquatic and Squash Centre
  • Courtice Community Complex
  • Diane Hamre Recreation Complex
  • Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex
  • South Courtice Arena
• The Municipal Administrative Centre, Clarington Animal Shelter, and Darlington Sports Centre remain closed.

Please note:  While our offices will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, Municipal Law Enforcement Officers and Public Works staff will remain on duty to monitor and respond to urgent service requests and complaints.
