What's open and closed on the Civic Holiday weekend

Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2

• Recreation facilities will be open during regularly scheduled hours. Programs will take place as scheduled. Visit www.clarington.net/Drop-In to view our drop-in activities.
• Clarington Animal Shelter will be open for regular hours on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Monday, August 3

• Courtice Community Complex will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Orono Park Pool will be open from noon to 5 p.m.
• The Municipal Administrative Centre, Clarington Animal Shelter, Hampton Operations Depot, and all other recreation facilities will be closed.

Please note:  While our offices will be closed on August 3, Municipal Law Enforcement Officers and Public Works staff will remain on duty to monitor and respond to urgent service requests and complaints.

If you have a concern that requires immediate attention, our team will do their best to assist during our scheduled hours. Non-urgent matters will be assessed on Tuesday, August 4. For after-hours emergencies, please call 905-433-1234.
