Clarington, Ontario – Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement for the beginning of Hanukkah.
“Happy Hanukkah! Tonight, our Jewish neighbours will begin lighting the menorah for the Festival of Lights. This tradition highlights the strength that comes from faith and perseverance in even the darkest times. To all those celebrating, I hope your Hanukkah is filled with love and peace. May the lights you share this season glow with warmth and spark hope for the future."
