Clarington September 28, 2020/- After two overnight fires where cigarettes appear to be the cause, Clarington Fire is reminding residents to be vigilant and dispose of their cigarette butts safely.
Overnight, Clarington fire crews responded to fires in Bowmanville and Kendal.

Clarington July 22, 2020/- As we see more and more people enjoying our beaches, the Municipality of Clarington is asking residents to take on a collective responsibility to keep the beaches safe and clean. Clarington has created some additional rules and signs to respond to concerns raised by residents regarding garbage and some unsafe beach activities.
Clarington July 9, 2020/- Clarington is partnering with local Internet Service Provider (ISP) Rapid Connex to fast-track the deployment of high-speed internet to underserviced rural areas. Rapid Connex approached Clarington with a robust plan, and with the help of Clarington staff, several Municipally-owned sites were identified as potential tower locations to help get residents connected.
