Her Game, Our Goal

Girls in sports become leaders in life.

Sports show girls what they’re capable of – and that confidence sticks.

Her Game, Our Goal logo

Her Game, Our Goal is Clarington's initiative to inspire, empower and support girl-identified children and youth through sport. Through safe, inclusive and welcoming programs, participants can build confidence, develop leadership and life skills, form meaningful friendships, and discover the joy of being active.

We believe in the importance of inclusive programming. That's why Recommendation #87 of Clarington's Parks and Recreation and Culture Master Plan focuses on increasing participation in recreation and sport among women and those who identify as female, in partnership with Canadian Women & Sport. We know that when girls have the opportunity to play, they gain the confidence to lead.

Thanks to support from generous grant partners, Her Game, Our Goal programs are offered at no cost to participants, with equipment provided to help remove barriers to participation. These programs are designed to build confidence, connection and leadership through play.

Girls got game!

Whether trying a sport for the first time or building on existing skills, every participant is encouraged to challenge themselves, celebrate their achievements and discover what they're capable of.
