Diane Hamre Recreation Complex pool receiving a refresh this fall
The Diane Hamre Recreation Complex pool will close for regular maintenance and lighting upgrades from Friday, September 4, until Sunday, September 13, 2026. It will reopen for regularly scheduled programs and drop-in activities on Monday, September 14.
The closure includes the following amenities:
- Main pool
- Tot pool
- Slide
- Whirlpool
- Sauna
- Pool change rooms
The rest of the facility will remain open.
During the closure, pools at Courtice Community Complex and Alan Strike Aquatic and Squash Centre are available for drop-in swimming, whirlpool and sauna use during scheduled times. Visit www.clarington.net/Drop-In to view our drop-in activities. Fall drop-in activities become viewable on September 1 for programs beginning September 8.
Regularly scheduled maintenance like painting, regrouting and deep cleaning helps extend the life of the pool and refreshes the space for swimmers of all ages to enjoy for years to come.
