Exciting park upgrades coming to Stuart Park in Courtice!

Families in Courtice can look forward to a more inclusive and exciting play space as Stuart Park undergoes a major playground upgrade this summer.

The new playground has been thoughtfully designed to bring kids of all ages together to play, connect, and explore. It will feature all-new play structures, swings—including an accessible swing—benches, and newly paved pathways. A ramp and wood fibre safety surfacing will further enhance accessibility, ensuring children of all abilities can enjoy the park together.

Construction is scheduled to begin the week of July 14, with the new playground expected to open this fall. While work is underway, areas of the park may be temporarily closed to the public. We appreciate your patience as crews complete this exciting transformation.
