It’s hot out there, Clarington! To help you beat the heat, Orono Park Pool hours have been extended until 8 p.m. today. Residents looking to cool off or access a safe, comfortable space during the heat wave can visit any Clarington recreation facility or library branch during regular operating hours.
Other ways to stay cool
- Beat the heat at one of our many splash pads. 💦
- Drop in for a refreshing swim during one of our scheduled public swims. 🏊♂️
- Cool down with a good book at Clarington, Library, Museums & Archives. 📚
- Take advantage of the breeze by the waterfront. 🏖️
- Find some shade at a local park. 🌳
Enjoy unlimited swims all summer long with our Summer Splash Pass
For a limited time, purchase a Summer Splash Pass and get unlimited visits to drop-in public, lane and parent-and-tot swims, as well as saunas and whirlpools at all Clarington pools. Passes are available to purchase online or at any Clarington recreation facility (excluding Orono Park Pool) until July 15 and are valid for 90 days.
