Clarington Diversity Advisory Committee updates Council on work plan
Clarington Council expressed its full support for the Diversity Advisory Committee while discussing a recent report on committee actions to date. Council approved the Clarington Diversity Advisory Committee in 2018 and the CDAC was established shortly after. Clarington July 24, 2020/- Beginning on August 10, the Municipality of Clarington will reopen its fitness training centre located at Courtice Community Complex. To ensure physical distancing and following all health and safety protocols, the fitness training centre will reopen with limited capacity and pre-registered one-hour workout time slots.

Clarington July 22, 2020/- As we see more and more people enjoying our beaches, the Municipality of Clarington is asking residents to take on a collective responsibility to keep the beaches safe and clean. Clarington has created some additional rules and signs to respond to concerns raised by residents regarding garbage and some unsafe beach activities.

Clarington July 17, 2020/- The Municipality of Clarington is pleased to announce that we will be reopening our Orono outdoor pool as of July 24 with strict physical distancing and capacity limits. The pool will reopen seven days a week with pre-registered swim sessions lasting an hour each. A maximum of 20 swimmers will be allowed at each session.
