“Clarington staff have prepared a report outlining proposed changes to the way our emergency and fire services are delivered in the community. The recommendations, which will be considered by Council on June 19, will help to ensure we continue to provide our services in an efficient way and meet the high standard of safety our residents expect and deserve.

New playground equipment coming to parks in Burketon, Haydon, Kendal, Newtonville and OronoClarington residents will soon see new playground equipment at the following parks:
- Burketon Park
- Harvey Jackson Park
- Haydon Hall Parkette
- Ina Brown Parkette
- Peters Pike Parkette
Crews will work throughout May and June to remove the existing equipment that has reached its end of life and install new play structures. New benches and waste receptacles will also be added, along with trail improvements.
