The Municipality of Clarington welcomes individuals of all abilities to our swimming facilities.

We offer recreational swimming that is open to people with physical or developmental disabilities along with a caregiver. We also offer adapted swims at Diane Hamre Recreation Complex from September to June.

Caregivers and support workers

Caregivers and support workers who attend a swim to assist individuals with special needs will be permitted entry at no charge.

Diane Hamre Recreation Complex

Diane Hamre Recreation Complex is equipped with a large private, accessible change room, washroom and shower. A transfer lift is also available at this location to help transfer swimmers into the pool safely.
