Clarington is working on a comprehensive and independent Ward Boundary Review (WBR) to identify whether Clarington’s current ward system is effective and equitable in terms of representation. The existing ward boundaries have been in place since 1996, and since then, the population in the Municipality has grown by almost 50 per cent.

Clarington June 23, 2020/- During a marathon Committee session culminating in a late-night Council meeting, Clarington Council passed an unprecedented financial support package for taxpayers and business owners negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
