Small Group Training - January 16 to March 12
Groups of three to six participants. Programs are taught by a certified personal trainer and meet once a week in the Fitness Training Centre. Personalized plans provided throughout the course. No membership is required to participate. Don't see what you're looking for? We can put together a specialized group for you and two other friends who have a similar goal. Foundational Movement Series - The Deadlift
Get an introduction to the deadlift, a foundational movement pattern in weightlifting. Learn how to perform the exercise correctly, avoid common mistakes and injuries, and improve your overall strength and fitness level. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced lifter, this class will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to perfect your deadlift and take your fitness to the next level.
Nutrition Masterclass (Five weeks)
Join our beginner-friendly workshop where we break down the basics. Discover the importance of proteins, carbs and fats, essential nutrients, which diet is best, and how to put it all together. Empower yourself to make healthier choices and kickstart your journey to a healthier you. No prior knowledge needed – just curiosity and a desire to learn!
The Indoor Triathlon includes a 10-minute swim, 30-minute indoor bike, followed by a 20-minute run (or walk) on the treadmill. Ten-minute transitions. The results are measured in distance traveled during each element. Trainers and Fitness staff will be on-site to assist with each phase of this event (timing, set-up, and transitions).
Family-Friendly Workouts
This family-centric yoga class not only helps to build strength, flexibility and balance, but also the bond between parent and child. Empower your child while practising mindfulness, moving your bodies, learning to breathe, calming your minding, and accessing your creativity. Suitable for children ages 8 and up.
This six-week Prenatal Yoga class is designed for pregnant women in their second and third trimesters to practice yoga, regardless of fitness level. This class will provide a mixture of stretching, controlled breathing, and mental focus to offer the mother and in-utero baby a variety of benefits.
Take time for yourself in this fun, full body bootcamp style workout. Classes include a combination of cardio intervals and functional strength training, post-natal specific core work and flexibility. Bring baby's stroller, car seat or carrier, to help baby feel comfortable as you work out. Designed for caregiver and infant from six weeks to pre-crawling. All fitness levels welcome.
Stroller Fit is a caregiver and baby-friendly full body workout. Classes include a combination of cardio intervals, power walks, functional strength training, post-natal specific core work and flexibility.
Parent and baby massage is an excellent bonding experience for both parents and babies. Studies show baby massage has many reported benefits, including relief from gas, colic, constipation, teething pains, and more restful sleep. Please bring something soft for your baby to lay on.
