Every vote matters! Cast your vote online or by telephone before October 24 at 8 p.m.

Clarington, Ontario – Eligible Clarington electors can cast their ballots online or by telephone until Monday, October 24 at 8 p.m. to elect the following offices:

Mayor
Regional Councillor
Local Councillor
School Board Trustees
Regional Chair

The decisions made by members of Clarington’s Council affect the day-to-day lives of all residents in the Municipality. We encourage everyone to review the candidates in their ward to make an informed decision.

Election results

The unofficial results will be posted on Clarington’s elections website at www.clarington.net/votes after 8 p.m. on October 24, with the official certified results expected to be available on October 25, 2022.

Casting your vote is easy.

To vote online, visit votenow.clarington.net. Enter your birth date and the PIN provided on your Voter Information Letter, then make your selection(s).

To vote by phone, dial 1-877-202-9506 (Canada and US) or 1-289-204-8045 (Outside North America) and follow the audio instructions.

If you did not receive your Voter Information Letter, you might not be on the voters’ list. Add your name to the list by visiting an Election Assistance Centre, the Municipal Administrative Centre (40 Temperance Street, Bowmanville), or any Clarington Public Library Branch. Bring identification that shows your name, address and date of birth.

A Voter Information Letter (and PIN) if you didn’t receive one.
An opportunity to correct your address or school support.
An opportunity to vote using touchscreen devices if you do not have access to the internet or a touchtone telephone.
