Intersection Improvement Projects in Clarington

The Municipality of Clarington will be implementing accessibility improvements on various intersections from mid-April to June 2024.

Work includes replacing concrete curbs and sidewalks, installing tactile plate walking surface indicators, upgrades to pedestrian signals and improving line painting and signage.

The following intersections are scheduled for improvements:

• Longworth Avenue and Scugog Street intersection, Bowmanville
• Nash Road and Trulls Road intersection, Courtice

Pedestrian traffic may be rerouted during replacement of concrete curb and sidewalk approaches. Vehicle traffic will be maintained during construction.
