Clarington, Ontario – Clarington residents have spread love during the pandemic by donating over $10,000 to our Animal Shelter. These incredible donations help to pay for food and supplies so that Staff can look after the rescued or found animals.
“On behalf of the Municipality of Clarington, I want to thank our residents for your incredible generosity, care and compassion during these difficult times. Our Animal Shelter Staff and the furry creatures they look after are humbled and grateful for your contributions,” said Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster.
We want to acknowledge the following residents for your continued support:
To our residents who continue to bring food, toys and have donated $3,798.62 but wish to stay anonymous – thank you.
“We are incredibly fortunate to live in a tight-knit community where residents not only look after one another but also care for the vulnerable and helpless animals. Words are not enough to express our gratitude,” added Mayor Foster.
