Granville Anderson - Regional Councillor Wards 1 and 2 |
Granville Anderson is serving his second term on Clarington Council. Before joining Municipal politics Granville was a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 2014 to 2018. Granville served as a school trustee and was elected as the chair of the Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland, and Clarington Catholic District School Board. |

Sami Elhajjeh - Councillor Ward 1 |
Sami Elhajjeh is serving his first term on Clarington Council. He graduated with an Undergraduate Degree in Health Science from Brock University and a Post Graduate Degree in Public Health from Ryerson University. He has worked in Environmental Public Health for over fifteen years with municipal government and with the Federal Government providing Public Health subject matter expertise to various First Nations/Indigenous communities. Before becoming a Councillor, Sami was involved with various initiatives throughout Clarington and served on volunteer boards. He currently lives in Ward 1 and enjoys being actively involved in his community and spending time with his young family. Councillor Elhajjeh looks forward to working with his colleagues in making Clarington a better place to live, work, and play. |
Lloyd Rang - Councillor Ward 2 |
Lloyd Rang is serving his first term on Clarington Council. He has worked locally as a teacher, in hospital administration, and in communications for the Ontario government. He owns a small communications company based out of Bowmanville. Lloyd lives in Ward 2 with his son and daughter, where he enjoys spending time in Clarington's parks and green space. |
Corinna Traill - Councillor Ward 3 |
Corinna Traill graduated from the University of Toronto summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree, double major in Greek and Latin in 2006, and from Osgoode Hall Law School with a Juris Doctor in 2011. Corinna has her own local law practice, Traill Law, and has experience in many aspects of law, including family law, human rights law, estate litigation and civil litigation. She also has expertise in labour and employment law. Corinna has professional affiliations with the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Durham Region Law Association, the Legal Education and Action Fund, Equal Voice and the Canadian Bar Association. Having been born and raised in Bowmanville, where her retired parents still live, Corinna is an active member of the community where she grew up. She is a member of the Board of Directors on the Tyrone Community Centre Hall Board and the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority. As a proud member of the Bowmanville Business and Professional Women’s Club, she also serves as the Club’s Young BPW Representative and the Legislative Services Council Liaison. |
