Clarington is full of MVPs—from volunteer superstars and sports legends to community champions—but how should we recognize them?
In the past, we’ve celebrated these contributions through separate events, including:
- Clarington Sports Hall of Fame: A formal evening recognizing outstanding athletes, coaches and sports teams.
- Celebrate Sport: A fun, family-friendly event celebrating local sports and recreation.

Trees for Rural Roads Program - now accepting 2025 applications!The Municipality of Clarington is pleased to once again offer the Trees for Rural Roads program for 2025! Applications are now being accepted until March 31, 2025.
Each spring, trees are offered free of charge to rural residents to be planted by the landowner on their private property adjacent to municipal roadways.
