Mayor’s Levee celebration marks the start of a bright year aheadClarington, ON – On Sunday, the annual Mayor’s Levee brought the Clarington community together to welcome the new year with an afternoon of free family activities. To kick off the festivities, Mayor Foster hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open Clarington’s first-ever outdoor refrigerated skating rink.

Clarington increases fines for stopping in school zones, parked cars interfering with snow removalClarington, ON – Clarington Council has updated the Traffic By-law, resulting in increased fines for recurring traffic issues, such as parking in prohibited areas and parking on the street during snow-clearing operations.
Previously, no-stopping fines ranged from $45 to $60.
