Clarington, Ontario –  Following a fire in Newtownville last night, Clarington’s Fire Chief reminds residents to remove any snow accumulated around fire hydrants.

Clarington, Ontario – Clarington is working with the Jury Lands Foundation to implement the future vision for the historically and culturally significant Camp 30 property in Bowmanville. The vision is to repurpose these buildings using a process called adaptive reuse, allowing the space to serve another function while conserving its history.

Clarington, Ontario – Enbridge Gas has donated 318 combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to Clarington Emergency and Fire Services to improve home safety and help bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.

This is part of Safe Community Project Zero, a campaign with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council, which focuses on public education and bringing more than 16,600 alarms to residents in 70 municipalities across Ontario.

Clarington, Ontario –  Clarington has opened seven new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Bowmanville to support clean energy and EV use in our community. Five charging points are now open for use in the parking lot at 33 Division Street, and two other charging stations are open at Garnet B.

Clarington, Ontario – The Municipality officially unveiled a new 600-metre extension to the Bowmanville Valley Trail, linking the existing path from the neighbourhood on Baseline Road, south under Highway 401 to the Waterfront Trail.
