Clarington, Ontario – Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement for the beginning of Hanukkah.
“Happy Hanukkah! Tonight, our Jewish neighbours will begin lighting the menorah for the Festival of Lights.
Clarington is getting spruced up with forestry workCrews will be pruning trees in residential areas across Clarington to help keep our neighbourhoods beautiful, our community safe, and our trees healthy. In the coming weeks, crews will be conducting block pruning, which may cause minor disruptions for pedestrian traffic.
