Purpose
To operate the Newcastle Memorial Arena.

Terms of reference (By-law 2025-061)
Composition
Appointed for the same term as Council.
Members are eligible for appointment for more than one term.
Seven community members plus two members of Council
Frequency of meetings
Minimum of four (4) times per year.
Second Tuesday of the month.
Remuneration
This is a volunteer position.

History
The Newcastle Arena Board was formed in 1978. In 2008, Report CLD-010-08 reviewed the Board. As a result, Council passed By-law 2008-037 establishing the Newcastle Arena Board as a Municipal Service Board.
