Project description
The Clarington Energy Business Park Secondary Plan was created in 2005 in response to a report on environmental and energy industries in the Greater Toronto Area. The secondary plan is now 13 years old. During that time changes to Provincial, Regional and Municipal policies now necessitate an update to the Secondary Plan. In addition, physical changes in and around the Energy Park along with unrealized expectations for development require the Secondary Plan to be updated.
Phase 1 – Analysis and consultation
The Technical Report prepared by Urban Strategies provides details on the Energy Park’s current and future trajectory.
