What is a Public Information Centre (PIC)?
Public Information Centres (PICs) are informal public meetings where staff and consultants share upcoming or ongoing project details with residents and local business owners. You will have the opportunity to learn about the project, ask questions and share your ideas, opinions and perspectives. We welcome all feedback.
Why should I come to a PIC?
The input of Clarington residents is vital to the success of every project. We need to know what you think so that we can consider your comments, ideas and suggestions. Your feedback will also help shape the information we share on our website and social media.
What happens at a PIC?
PICs often include presentations where Municipal staff or consultants explain the details of a project. Other PICs are drop-in style. You can drop by during set hours and browse poster boards displaying project information. You will also have the opportunity to chat with staff and consultants.
What if I can't attend a PIC?
PICs are only one way for you to engage. You can also share your feedback via phone, email, letter, or social media. The details of where you can send your comments are posted on each notice.
