Planning applications now available online through Service Clarington

As part of Clarington Planning and Infrastructure Services’ ongoing modernization efforts, eight Planning Act applications have been digitized and are now available for online submission—along with payments under $10,000—through the Service Clarington portal.

The following applications can now be submitted online:

• Regional and Clarington Official Plan Amendments
• Zoning By-law Amendments
• Draft Plan of Subdivision/Condominium
• Site Plan
• Land Division (Consents)
• Minor Variance

This digital transition is designed to better serve customers by improving efficiency, reducing errors, and streamlining the application experience. Applicants can now submit forms, make payments (under $10,000), and view their submissions—all in one convenient location.

While Service Clarington is now the preferred method for submitting Planning Act applications, the previous process will continue to be accepted for a limited time to support applicants during the transition and allow staff to gather feedback for future enhancements.
