Drivers can now pay for public parking by debit or credit at the municipal parking lots located at 30 Division Street, 166 Church Street, 132 Church Street and 20 King Street East. Clarington Mayor praises new life-saving cancer treatments to be produced locallyClarington, Ontario –Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement:
“We are thrilled that another critical medical isotope will now be produced right here at the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station, helping to make life-saving cancer treatments more easily available to those who need them.
The Yttrium-90 isotope, or Y-90, can be used as a targeted radiation therapy to destroy liver cancer cells and shrink tumours.
